Weekend Recap

Main highlights of the weekends: Christmas started going up around the Schweizer house (we usually wait until after Thanksgiving, but Thanksgiving is waaaay too late this year and we needed to get in a little more Christmas than the calendar allowed), Aiden got a hair cut at a big boy salon (aka a regular, grown up hair salon without the video and toy distractions that can be helpful when you are trying to trim a 19 month old's hair. iPhone came to the rescue though....), it got COLD here but I still wanted Aiden to play outside for a bit so I bundled him up and we went out (poor Texas baby has no idea how to move in mittens and a down jacket), and we discovered that Aiden's head is too big for all of his hats....and big enough to fit into an adult head warmer.

See photo recap below.

Pre and post haircut (I could also say, struggling to see and grateful to have a clear line of sight):

Trying to figure out his winter gear (please take special note of the grunts when picking up the rocks):

Some Words Are Hard

Aiden has a daily expanding vocabulary. I am continually surprised by his new words, but every now and again he finds a word that gets the best of him. Most notably, these words are almost anything that starts with 'r', pumpkin ("punky") and grandpa ("peacock".....yeah, you read that right). I only take slight enjoyment in repeatedly asking my child to say these words time and time again. :) Before you judge my video quality, keep in mind - little man is not always (read hardly ever) easy to capture on video, especially when you're asking him to do something specific.
